This camera failed to activate on two separate occasions now, when I know there was lots of action (from another camera) right in front of it. I checked everything; the settings, and everything were good. It just seems to not activate when you switch it to the “on” mode.
I noticed after first reading about setup, that going from “set” to “on”, didn’t give the 30second countdown (for video), so I tend to switch from “set” to “off”, then wait a few seconds, and then I switch to “on”, thinking that if I get the 30 second countdown it’s obviously working. But nope, I missed a full night of close up, great footage because this thing just plain failed. And it’s done this twice now, very frustrating.

Had this camera for over 1 month, it was a perfect purchase. It is built in good quality and has lots of features. Its positives:
    – easy to set up. it has a color screen, good for programming and preview
    – far, fast and accurate motion detection
    – unbelievable clear pictures and videos
    – accurate time-lapse
    – H.264 videos (in good compression, haven’t seen this feature in other game cams)
    – can accept 512GB SD card, greater than 128GB the seller advertised
    – good for camouflage
I can’t give out the comments on batteries life, but it looks fine by far, time will tell.
At the moment, so excited I have owned this cam. I would recommend to my hunter friends.

I bought this camera for strictly taking night pictures on my property. The camera has settings to activate for any period of time you want in a 24 hour day, which is what I need. I tried the camera indoors, in the dark at 25 foot distance and while it did take pictures they were pretty fuzzy. I tried all different settings, with brand new (and tested) batteries and pictures were always the same. I set the camera outdoors and walked by it at 35 feet and it did nothing. so its going back-

I haven’t owned it very long but it was very easy to set up and the videos are beautiful. I use it to watch wildlife in my woods and field. I have 4 other trail cams and this is BY FAR the best.

I am very pleased with this camera. I bought it based on other reviews’ positive statements about the night vision. I own 2 other brands of cameras. The night vision distance and clarity on the GardePro is far superior to my other cameras.
Day pictures are crisp and clear. I haven’t used the video function yet. The only downfall is the size. I wish it came in a smaller, 4AA battery size. Which is what I was shopping for when I saw this on Amazon. I decided better night vision was more important than camera size.
I also somehow set the password without knowing it. Not sure how I did that as this camera is very easy to set up and use. I emailed customer service @ 7:30 at night. Thay got back to me within an hour with instructions on how to reset the password. And they wrote back to make sure things were ok the next day.

Love it! This camera has held up in 25F. The trigger speed is great, as you can see and I love seeing “flying” squirrels! The only problem with trail cameras is that they have a preset setting, so there’s no autofocus. When an animal comes close to the camera, the animal image is blurry. But, all of the trail cameras are like that.

I don’t know if I was unlucky, but for the second time I bought another product from this manufacturer “Zopu technology”: the other camera was the SL122M model, and here is the GardePro model A3, but again the camera is not working well. She does not take photos or videos in the dark in PIR motion detection mode, which she absolutely must do in her duties. For that I do not recommend it at all. This company does not seem to be reliable in its trail cameras.
I tried a second one, and it works much better than the first one. The images are of very good quality, since the videos are in .mp4, it takes much less bytes than the .avi format, with temperatures above 10 degrees celsius, it works very well. However, when temperatures are below -5 degrees Celsius, it is reliable about 80% of the time. A robust and weatherproof camera.

Try this camera before you purchase a high priced camera. I have this camera set up side by side a $180 dollar camera and I like the GardePro much better. You won’t be disappointed with this camera.
I’m disgusted I paid $180 dollars for a camera that doesn’t perform as well as the GardePro.

GardePro A3 is the best trail camera I’ve ever used. Its quality and performance exceeds most of the high-priced well-known brand trail game cams. I was very impressed with its excellent photo and video – 20mp picture and 1080p 30fps video. Pleasantly surprised to find that the 10-second of videos in 1080p were only about 10MB size, much smaller than the video of 30MB size on my another brand trail camera. I guess this was produced through the advanced encoding and compression technology as stated in the description. Really save my cost on sd card and easier for me to share!
It seems in reliable design and has good waterproof performance. The cam was outside during a wind driven torrential rainstorm and as expected there was no water infiltration into the camera. I also found that in low light where there was only a weak corridor light, this cam could take color videos, but my another cam could not, although the videos in low light were not same clear level compared to in adequate light at daytime, but those were clear enough for me to identify everything, and present more details than videos in black & white. I tried to take videos by my phone without flash turned on, the phone only can shoot a nearly dark video clips. This cam did good job. Amazing! In the woods, there is total darkness at night, it performs quite well, the nighttime pictures and video were still clear. No glow IR LED is very important to me, I won’t worry about whether it would be stolen. I am very pleasant with my purchase and I think this cam is one of the best choice I’ve made.

I am redoibg my backyard & currently have no fence. I also have a chihuahua that used to have free reign of the backyard when the 6′ wood fence was up. I knew there were critters, I could hear them, but assumed they were maybe raccoons as the safer option as far as being confrontational & hunting my dog. So I ordered this hoping to find out what was lurking. I got some type of cat, it looks too large to be a housecat, too small to be a cougar, still not sure, but this is definitely a coyote. It has many options & pictures are super clear considering I have no lights on at night out back. Definitely recommend!!
