Sticks to the Burt’s bees standard. Not much of a scent, but still highly moisturising. Thankfully I don’t get a white film between my lips like with other balms.

This is my favorite flavor of Burt’s Bee’s, however this was a most disappointing and disturbing purchase in that the box contained 1 sealed tube of the grapefruit balm I ordered along with 1 previously used and disgustingly filthy balm of some other flavor. In the same box !

My girlfriend is obsessed with lip balms and our favorite brand is of course Burt’s.
We have tried almost all of the scents/flavors.
Our favorite is the Blueberry & Chocolate but sadly Burt’s does not make this one any more.
Next would be Coconut & Pear, followed by Mango.
Our least favorites are Pomegranate. Strawberry seems to be lacking in strength of flavor too.

Bring Blueberry Chocolate back please please please!

Being in the Midwest winter season is hard and dries your lips out like crazy. I was looking for a natural lip moisturizer that would get the job done without having to reapply every hour. The only real positive I have to say about the Burts Bee’s Ultra Conditioning is that it goes on very smooth and feels nice on the lips. However, it does not last long and feel I have to reapply every hour before my lips feel dried out again. Also, it has a funky smell like a citronella candle which I’m not partial to. This lip moisturizer may work good if you live in a descent climate area but not if you live in harsh winters that dry you out.

I got a cold and for some reason my lips got super duper chapped. Like I had tiny scabs on my lip line. More my upper lip but wow it was ridiculously painful. Perhaps the tissue dried my lips out? Who knows but I needed something quickly. I tried coconut oil, jojoba oil, Egyptian magic, honest healing ointment, other brands of chapstick and decided to try this. First swipe I was sold! It actually moisturized my lip not just sit on top doing nothing. I may have went overboard and also applied it under my nose…it hurts okay?! No judging. My chapped lips and raw nose thanks this product!!! (I bought the one with kokum butter in it)

This lip balm (peppermint flavoured) had a strong smell which was refreshing but quite overpowering – I wanted a strong smell though so I liked that. The issue I had with the lip balm was that it made my lips sting/burn a bit (not an allergic reaction or anything just not particularly nice). Also my lips didn’t seem moisturised after I put it on so I really didn’t see the point in it as a ‘lip balm’. I wouldn’t really recommend it.

This claims to be the Beeswax flavor (which i Alice the honey beeswax flavor) it is NOT honey, these are lip burning PEPPERMINT. Please read before you find yourself trying to give away unwanted chapsticks to family. They ended up in garbage and me on the hunt for HONEY BEESWAX flavor!

I found out a few years ago that I was allergic to petroleum products, hence no more Chapstick for me. Thanks goodness for Burt’s Bees lip balm! It’s one of the few things that gets my lips through the winter. Instead of using petroleum, it uses bees wax, plus other fats — coconut oil, olive oil, sunflower seed oil, avocado oil, shea butter, plus many more. Some of the oils, such as orange and vanilla, are for fragrance. It goes on smoothly with a silken feel. I find that I have to apply it slightly more often than I do with a petroleum product because it is more readily absorbed, but given the natural ingredients, I feel much better about having this kind of product on my lips.

Ordinarily I love this lip balm, but the last order I received smelled and tasted rancid. The batch # on the box was BO161661Z. Beware if you receive a foul tasting product with this number on it! I had bought ten tubes and had to throw them all out. Amazon was very good about refunding my money and didn’t require me to return the item. Excellent service from Amazon, but a tainted product.

February 10 update: tried another order and got another shipment of rancid product. This time there was a different number on the box. I will not try again, and do not recommend this item.

I used to walk to work everyday in some harsh summer and \\winter conditions. My lips are often where you see it show up first. Tried all sorts of chapsticks for it and this is the absolute best option for hard conditions. However, that same good, thick balm that will protect your lips from everything is also why it’s hard to wear for just hanging out. The white balm can stay on the lips fairly easily and it looks… odd.

But let’s be honest here. Who owns just one kind of chapstick? So I use this for harsher conditions and others for a more aesthetically pleasing option.
