I suffered from the most severely painful cracked feet for over 30 years. Like many that suffer from this condition – I’ve tried every dang option, medical and homeopathic do it yourself conjuring I could think of. All of which ended up not working and seemed I would be doomed to live out the rest of my life dealing severely painful cracked feet. Not to mention the wearing of socks at the beach, scratching the wife with the heals and the kids asking if I was dying due to the way my feet looked – no joke!

That is until I found and tried the Colossal Foot Rasp from Rikans. Not only did it work, but it REALLY worked! I could not believe how much this foot file does its job in getting through the dry, dead and callused skin. Don’t believe me, take a look at the before and after pictures I included as they will speak for themselves.

    Words of advice:

#1. Take your time the first time through using this. It works very well and takes off a lot of skin more so than you think. Go slow and watch the dead skin fall away. Soon you will see new and healthy skin start to appear.

#2. Find a great foot repair cream that specializes in re-moisturizing and combating cracked dry heals. I used O’Keeffe’s Healthy Foot Cream and that is the second part to the overall success of curing my severely cracked heals.

#3. Keep feet moisturized and keep applying lotion daily. Small price to pay but worth it to never have the feet I had ever again!.

Hope this review finds its way to those that dealt with feet and heals like I had. You don’t have to live with it as this product will do wonders if used correctly.

Oh my goodness, this thing is AMAZING. I have had dry, cracked heels for years. Seriously…years. I have tried everything from creams, to lotions, to those funky battery powered foot file Amope things that you have to turn on your feet for like an hour to see even the smallest difference. I blame this on the fact that I don’t splurge on my self enough. I am 45 and have had a grand total of 3 pedicures in my lifetime…yeah, I need to treat myself more often. So last week, I did. I treated myself to a pedicure and the little woman looked disgusted with my heels. When I saw her grab the cheese grater looking tool and bring it toward my heels, my heart sank as I was certain it would hurt. Well, it didn’t, it was awesome! My heels were NORMAL when she was done. What the heck? Oh the pain I could’ve saved myself…

If you have cracked heels….ORDER THIS THING, IT WORKS AND IT WORKS REALLY, REALLY GOOD. And bonus, it doesn’t hurt!!!

This foot rasp is AWESOME! Ex-military in combat arms, we are always in bad conditions and taking care of your feet is prority one. Messed up feet and your going to be miserable. I have tried everything and it’s hard battling sweat, dryness, athletes feet, layers of caleses, dead skin, etc.

The rasp will micro cut the dead skin like a cheese grater into fine powder.

Go slowly and take your time, if you go fast your going to cut your feet all up because you won’t notice how much skin your taking off.
Do it at night, your feet will be a little sore. Let them heal over night. I used O’Keeffe’s foot cream afterwords, you don’t have to use much. This stuff is great.
Don’t try to take all the dead skin off in one night or you’ll be sorry you did. Do it 3-5 days until you get the results you want.
I disinfected it by running hot water over it in the sink for 5 mins, then poured alcohol on it. Pat dry.
Wonder why you can’t get rid of that pesky athletes foot? The fungus is living within and under the dead skin, this rasper will take care of that problem.
    Note to Seller:
You should make a much smaller rasper that will be easier between toes and around them. Add both of them as a kit.

I have no dog in this show, just thought others can really use this product, it’s that good and I’m a dude!

I am amazed how well this product worked. After soaking my feet in Epsom salts and mouthwash, I went after my super thick heels. Boy, was I impressed with how effective this tool was. Definitely better results than having a professional pedicure. I will absolutely be recommending this product to my friends.

I have had disgusting feet my entire life, thick heels and so beyond dry and cracked that they bleed. I have never been able to get rid of it with creams or pumice stones, I took a leap of faith and just tried this after seeing good reviews and this was after ONE use. I’m going to keep using it and hope overtime I’ll have soft feet. I used to have to wear socks to bed after a shower because the skin on my heels would stick to my bed sheets and I hated it but now I’m rubbing my feet against my sheets and there’s no tugging or anything. Ahhhh I’m so happy. Will post an update after more usage!

My feet were bad, I mean down right awful. Cracks several millimeters deep, sharp edges from skin that lifted, and they always had dirt in. Soaked in water for 5 minutes and then I went to town on my feet. The amount of dead skin that came off was disgusting, and when I got down to live skin it didn’t cut in. Would be good to follow up with a light file or buffer tool, then lotion. Looks and feels just as good as when the pedicure person uses the blade, and way cheaper.

Alright y’all, this ain’t your basic foot rasp. If you have mild calluses, I really suggest you look elsewhere. However, if you, like me, basically have hooves for heels, then this may be you new holy grail of extraneous foot skin removal.

A word of warning — this thing will take off the tips of your toes if you’re not careful. I nicked my pinky toes twice before I figured out how to NOT do that. But injury aside, after I learned how to wield this mighty weapon, I’ve been unafraid to wear flip flops since. That’s HUGE for me. I have nasty feet. NASTY. Calluses, fissures, you named it. I’ve had ’em all. And now they’re all gone, thanks to this gigantic foot grater.

It’s easy to use: take a shower, put a little liquid lotion (or shampoo or conditioner) on the rasp, apply to feet. Very little pressure is needed. You may need to try a few different angles so you don’t accidentally grind off the skin you want to keep. This thing works quickly, so stop while you’re ahead — it’s possible to, without even realizing it, work your way down to very delicate layers of skin that shouldn’t be walked on.

So I hope you get the idea. Minor foot issues? Don’t buy this. Scaly, nasty hobbit-feet? This is the cheese grater for you. It’ll change your life. Or just your feet. Or both!

Instead of going to pedicures, this has been my weekly regiment. It’s an inexpensive, affective tool which helps reveal your healthier heels.

    • If you are new to this, try it wet. I have noticed it’s more effective that way and you won’t have that “fly away skin particles” problems a lot of reviews are referring to. This is my routine:

    1. Wash feet with warm water and liquid Castile soap (or just body wash)
    2. Rinse with water and pat dry with a towel.
    3. Soak feet in Epson salt until the rough skin on your heels has softened (skip this stage if you are using the tool after shower/ 10 min in the shower would pretty much have the same effect)
    4. Use the tool to buff away the outer layer of softened skin
    5. Baaaam! New heels. Baby heels.
    6. Apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly (or your body lotion) on heels.
    7. Wear socks to help the jelly absorb
    8. Disinfect the tool and dry it out with a towel or sth
    9. Ask your man to follow 1-8 (or 7 depending on your mood)

    Things to consider:
~ I haven’t posted a photo, I’m sure you can use your imagination. Trust me it works
~ You can go back and forth with the tool because the grinding edges are both ways.
~ Be gentle in the beginning to get a feel for it.
~ It comes with a cute pouch so no need to worry about guests seeing your “grinder” in the bathroom
~ Don’t waste your money on the electric, fancy looking ones. Since I have purchased this, I barely reach for my “fancy looking” battery operated one

Lemme me know if this was helpful! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

To say the least, i was pretty apprehensive about using what is advertised as a “Colossal Foot Rasp.” Pretty terrifying labeling if you ask me. But HOLY CRAP this thing works. I had to do a before and after shot. It looks photoshopped but it absolutely is not!
