Not working. Really bad..it doesn’t cover anything and you have tu use almost all the bottle in just one time.

The product was supposed to be a set of two. The product arrived with the plastic ripped, as the picture shows. There was only one can of the product. Apparently the second can was taken.

Very easy to apply and does the job. The challenge I found was you really can’t touch your hair throughout the day without staining your fingers. Even hours after its applied and dried, if you touch your hair in the slightest (even to loosely put it in a hair clip), it would come off on your fingertips (and if you didn’t notice in time, it would be on your clothes before you knew it). I likely won’t continue using it unless in a jam and need a rescue, but otherwise, I’ll likely stick to the Root Touch Up system

Being 31 yrs old and having thick streaks of white hair that makes me look like a skunk is just cruel! I’m tired of dying the grays every 2-3 weeks so I tried not to look at them and pretended they weren’t there. That is until one night when I had my hair down, making the grays much more prevalent, and a male friend gasped as he blurted out “you seriously look like you’re 56 yrs old……” All I’ve got to say is thank God this product exists and it works so well!! I only used a tiny bit and quickly sprayed it on just to take the 2 pictures and it already looks 100 times better! I was also pleasantly surprised by the fact that it didn’t change the feel/texture of my hair. I thought for sure that it would make my hair feel like a cross between hair spray and dry shampoo but it doesn’t. Personally I think it actually made my hair feel a little softer and cleaner. It doesn’t leave brown splotches on my scalp, it doesn’t rub off on my hands, maybe it’s because I always have polish on my nails but I’ve never had an issue with it messing up a manicure and I don’t even wash my hands after applying it, it isn’t unpleasantly cold to me like another reviewer stated (it’s feels like a less intense quick burst of air that comes out of those cans of air used to clean electronics with) and it doesn’t come off of my hair until I wash it. If you feel like it’s coming out too forceful or too cold maybe try holding the can 12 inches from your scalp instead of the suggested 4-6, it will cover a larger and feel more like a mist rather then a concentrated burst of air. Is it perfect? No. But what do you expect from an $8 product intended as a quick fix?

I’m currently going through some nasty post-partum hair thinning at the front of my crown. THIS HAS BEEN A SELF-ESTEEM SAVER! I wish I had bought this after my first pregnancy!

The thinning at the front makes my forehead look huge, but ever since I discovered this product, i look like myself again. I’m confident in pulling my hair back into a ponytail again!

You literally have to spray most of the top of your hair because the spray is strong. You cannot spray around your face, side and hairlines without getting it on your skin, It is hard to remove from skin. You cannot spray it onto a hair coloring brush and brush it on; it just stays on the brush

I LOVE this product. I went almost completely gray in my 20s and have been coloring my hair since then – almost 20 years. My hair grows somewhat fast so I find myself coloring my roots at minimum every 2 weeks, which I think is bad for my hair. This product has been a lifesaver in allowing me to extend out that time frame some. I wish I had found it sooner!!! I have been several colors since finding this product – dark brown, blonde, and reddish – and all of those corresponding colors of this product worked wonderfully for me. I’ve found the best way for me to use this is to dry my hair shampooed hair and then apply this to all the roots around my face prior to applying my makeup. That way I can wash off all the spray that gets on my skin before applying my makeup. I then come back after I’ve applied my makeup and styled my hair and apply it to my part so it covers any of my roots that are showing. Using it this way (only covering visible areas) allows for more uses for me as opposed to trying to cover all my roots. It’s a small can, but definitely worth the price if you’re frugal with your use each time.

The product says 3 seconds to flawless roots, no smudging or sticky residue when dry, lasts until your next shampoo, good for all hair types and textures.
This was my experience: I followed the instructions and it DID cover the roots quickly and easily. I let it dry for about 4-5 minutes and tried to run a brush through my hair. That was almost impossible. Then I looked at my hands. It looked like I had been working on a car all day. No smudging ? It didn’t transfer to my pillow case like I thought it would, but the side of my temple was brown like someone beat me up during my sleep. I was grateful it only lasted one shampoo and happily hopped in the shower to wash it out. No idea how something that came off so easily on my hands and face when dry was so VERY difficult to wash out with shampoo and hot water. I have used a more expensive root cover up before (Can’t recall the name. Some salon owner developed it) As soon as I remember the name of it, I will order it again. THIS product is going in the garbage where it belongs.

I received this for free from L’Oreal through BzzAgent for testing purposes. I color my hair every 8 weeks mostly to cover up the regrowth of grays. That last week or so before my next appointment can be pretty scary if I have something I want to look nice for. I was excited to give this a try. Pros: 1) SUPER easy to apply; if you use hair spray, you can use this. There is a bit of a learning curve to make sure you spray the correct distance for the best dispersion of the product. I went a bit too close in some areas and I could see dark spots on my scalp. 2) Affordable. About the cost of a box of drugstore haircolor; but will last much longer. 3) FAST – results are pretty much instant 4) QUICK DRY – the product dried fairly quickly.
Cons: 1) Tricky to apply around hairlines. My greys are worst over my ears and along the hairline of my forehead. I ended up with a brown ear and forehead in order to cover the greys at the hairlines. 2) The product rubs off on fingers easily. I tested it after applying and the next day and came away with brown fingers both times. 3) Offputting Texture: The product takes away any natural shine in your hair and looked a bit like flat brown paint. It was pretty obvious to see the treated area from my normal hair. When I tried to run my fingers through the area I treated, it was somewhat matted and not easy.
Overall I think this is an affordable option that will work if you aren’t able to touch up your roots with hair dye. It’s not something I’ll use regularly, but I will keep it in the cabinet for those days before coloring.

I fell for the hyped up reviews. This products sprays everywhere, you have to really be careful it will get on your face. It is messy and doesn’t last on the no hair spots. Better to buy the powders, more control of product placement.
