Versatile articulating panel TV bracket puts your TV exactly where you want it! Get the viewing angle right whether you tilt the TV down or aim it to the left or right for the best view.

I found this to be a quality, solidly constructed, articulating wall mount for my 55″ TV. This model is designed for wall studs with 16″ centers. Studs further apart require a different model.

    1. Drywall alone will not provide adequate support. The mount itself is heavy and built for large TVs and an overkill on a small TV.
    2. Centering on a wall. If mounting on wood studs with 16″ centers, you may not be able to place the mount exactly where you want. The mounting frame itself is approximately 17″. Centering may require additional materials.
    3. Try to obtain a mounting template from the seller before purchase to avoid a return.

It can also be mounted on solid wood or concrete. I mounted mine on cultured
stone, which is made from concrete. It is not real stone.

Mounting on concrete requires a “hammer drill” and hammer drill bit for concrete, so an investment in equipment may be required. Tapcon concrete screws can usually be screwed into the drilled holes and provide strong support. It is much easier to attach to wood wall studs with wood screws. Studs may not, however, always be exactly 16″ apart.

It will take two people to lift a large TV onto the mount. Much of the wiring could be done before the lift. Since the mount adjusts, you do have adequate clearance to place wiring after the TV is installed.

The mount is very compact and is inconspicuous. The TV moves freely to tilt up or down, or side to side. The more it is adjusted, the more wall clearance is required, thereby requiring you to pull the bracket forward.

The instructions are excellent. Parts for installing various TVs are provided. A free HDMI cord, a level and assorted spacers are included. A template is also provided to mark where fasteners should be located.

I was suprised with all the hardware this comes with. It came with multiple metric bolts for different thread sizes for different TV’s. It comes with everything you need. As long as you mount it to a stud its not going anywhere.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.
Watch the video for all the details or read on. I first bought one mount as I was skeptical of the quality given the low cost, especially compaired to local purchases for 2 or 3 times the price. The mount is very solid and comes with good enough instructions and ample mounting hardware options. This is for 16″ on center studs so be prepared to have a tv centered between your studs. If you have 17″ inch spacing or you want the tv in an exact spot you will need to mount a board on the wall or pull the tv out a bit and swing it to the side. I choose this model because of the variety of Vesa mounting options that would fit all 3 of my tvs I was planning on wall mounting. After very helpful emails from the manufacturer he confirmed although my 65″ was above the reccommended size range for the mount it is newer and lighter then my 42″ and 40″ therefore would support it. The mount has a number of up and down options depending on your imput locations. Choosing where to mount the stand vertically and which spots to bolt it to the tv took the most time, however I am extremely picky. I hung my heavy 100lbs old sony first. Its was so solid and worked so well I purchased 2 more mounts and have hung all tv in my house. After about a year my only complaint is with the weight / leverage and tight joints it takes a bit of force to swivel the tv. I lubricated the joint which helped but I must be careful to not flex my very expensive thin panel TV. This however I think is required opposed to a sloppy or sagging mount. The other thing you must consider is having the swivel options makes the tv sit out from the wall 2 inches.

    Reccomendation: Purchase! Maybe x 3

Let me know if you found my video and review helpful. Cheers

This is just what you want if you’re looking to wall mount your big screen TV. I’ve been using this type of mount for years. And, hear me, this is important…this unit comes assembled. Just take it out of the box and it’s ready to mount. No assembly required.

The good. It’s well made. It can be mounted by one person…if you are experienced. It articulates easily and over a range that exceeds the mount I’m using now. All the parts are there…

    The bad…nothing.

Just remember to predrill your studs before you try driving the lag bolts that are used to secure the mount to the wall. And, you should use the outermost holes on the mount…they’re 16″ apart and that coinsides with the distance between stud centers.

A word of caution…if mounting to drywall, you should always find the studs, and then this mount should be screwed to the wall studs. Your TV might not seem as if it weighs much, but it can creat a lot of force when it’s pulled away from the wall, and unsupported drywall will not handle the forces generated by moving and adjusting your TV over and over.

    Just my observations. Buy one.

Let me preface this by saying that you’re paying around $50 for a TV mount, and this mount for what it costs is excellent. I mounted a Vizio M55-E0 television with it. This is a television that is 55″ and weighs in around 35lb well under the advertised 99lb rating of this mount. If you look carefully at the photo I’ve attached, you’ll notice that in around the center of wall plate, where the hex nuts are located the plate has actually started to ‘bend’ and pull away from the wall.

I’m guessing the steel used is either a higher gauge or just cheaper than that of the $200 mounts, and so pulling the TV out away from the wall to turn it has resulted in the middle of the wall plate bending.

Having said that, I’ve been carefully monitoring the lag bolts used to anchor it into my wood studs and they seem to be holding fast without any sign of give or warpage so I’m not overly concerned. This is however something you should consider when mounting a much heavier television. I would seriously doubt this mount to be capable of holding something near 100 lbs, unless you managed to somehow anchor bolt the middle of the plate as well.

We have a 50″ Sony flatscreen that was on a stand. We needed a mount but our budget held back the right purchase.

I bought the mount with little consideration because it fit the bill at under $50 and had the features I needed from a wall mount.

The kit was incredibly easy to install, and the added tools that come with the mount made it a mistake-proof solution. The mount has very forgiving adjustments that allow you to level the TV slightly after installation.

After several months of use the arms are holding up perfect, everything works well, and the amount of TV movement and panning is just incredible for the price.

The only problem that I’m now realizing is cable management. When I return the arms from a very far extension or pan, I have to watch the cables that run to my sound bar and other items above the TV. I risk pinching cables.

I have now installed eight of these mounts on 55” and 65” inch TV’s

I am at a loss to know what more I would want in a TV mount

    The key features are:

One-piece long wall plate is all assembled and can be placed on the wall without the TV

Includes a cardboard template that makes it easy to predetermine approximately were and what holes you will use to mount the one-piece long wall plate

Screws to mount the One-piece long wall plate to studs are included.

Two brackets with the necessary screws included attach to your TV and then once attached you can pick up the TV and hang the brackets onto One-piece long wall plate easily.

Two tube clips with screws lock those brackets with TV onto wall plate.

A lot of extra hardware so you have the right screws and spacers.

    Things to watch out for:

The One-piece long wall plate as delivered is too tight for moving TV once assembled. It is better to loosen the six (6) pivot bolts before mounting the long wall plate on wall (not too much about a turn and a half each. For this you will need a Hex Key Wrench Set and an open end wrench set (strange but true I found two different size nuts). Check the feel of opening the plate before installation.

To mount first install the two brackets on your TV then measure from bottom of TV to top of hook on bracket . With that measurement establishing the height of the One-piece long wall plate is easy. I have observed that many people want the TV too high in a living room this will strain the neck. I position the bottom of the TV 46 inches above the floor.

A bedroom is different because for two reasons you are lying in bed and occasionally one must look over a too tall belly. I position the bottom of the TV 56 inches above the floor (check for overhead clearance before mounting.

Find the wood studs you plan to mount wall plate to. Use the cardboard template to determine the position of the upper left lag screw and which two elongated holes work correctly for your studs. Drill a pilot hole for the first lag screw, then with a washer on the lag screw fasten the upper left side of the wall plate about one turn loose. Use a level to position the wall plate and drill the upper right hole and use a second lag screw with washer. Recheck level; recheck distance from floor to bottom of TV (as planned). Install lag screws three and four. Tighten all lag screws. Then Hang TV then connect TV

If for some reason the set is not level this can be adjusted at this point.

Remember you may have exposed wires you don’t like. Please see my review of the Datacomm 50-3338-WH-KIT Easy Mount Cable Organizer Kit and PORTER-CABLE 43218 3/16-Inch Piloted Down Spiral Drywall Cutout Bit to help you with that problem

    Good Luck

Mounting to wood studs is easy.

I have mounted some to metal studs using 1/4″ X 3-1/4″ T-Anchors – For Hollow Cavity Applications when you use this part you will need to add a lot of spacers or chase the threads further as the threads have not been chased far enough to tighten the screw. Also after you tighten screw you will probably want to cut off the excess thread.

Very sturdy and well built. Easy to install! You cannot beat the price as it goes for 3x the listed price at big box stores!! The swivel arm is very fluid and does not jerk, making adjustment easy. Now I can watch tv anywhere in my house.

One customer said that their backing place started to bend. This is because he did not install it correctly. I bought this wall mount stand for my 55″ Vizio and what I did was put bolts on all the holes 10 in total (5 on top and 5 on bottom) securing it to the wall. I have drywall, so I put a wood plate behind my frame which I secured first and then attached the stand to it, not directly on drywall. There is no warping of the plate if it is installed this way. This mount is very durable if mounted correctly. See my picture.
