Was able to pair this remote with my Firestick 4K but it did take a little while (i.e. not the smoothest of operations).
Remote buttons are not “solid”, especially parts of the circle portion but i could live with that given the reasonable price tag.
What i can’t live with is the remote seems to stop working whenever it feels like… and it’s not like once or twice a day. It’s literally will stop “communicating” with the Firestick once every 15 minutes or so – sometimes even more often. Thankfully the remedy is only a quick removal of 1 battery to reset the remote’s electronics. VERY FRUSTRATING!!!

This works for the most part but it is glitchy with certain apps. For example it won’t run my Hulu or hgtv apps for some reason. Also haven’t been able to get it to control the volume for the tv which is 50% of the reason I chose this remote over other, so that was quite a let down.

I didn’t realize it wasn’t an Amazon brand replacement remote control. I would not have purchased this if I would have realized it was a off brand. The setup directions were poorly translated to English and barely understandable. I do not recommend purchasing.

So far I’ve had to buy this remote 3x. Damn dogs keep getting ahold of it and chewing it up. Other than not being indestructible to sharp puppy teeth or power chewers it really is easy to use.

I can’t believe this. I purchased this device, had to wait 2 days, when I got it, it won’t pair w my tv. It has volume buttons but when I got the remote it says the volume buttons don’t work. POOP REMOTE. DO NOT BUY. I wish I would have read the reviews before I purchased NOW I have to wait to get a new remote! Silly girl… silly girl for not reading the comments. And everyone else says the same thing. Will be informing everyone I know.

I expected a full replacement remote for the fire stick but this remote doesnt directly control the firestick via direct wireless communication. Instead, it has a USB dongle attachment that you have to plug into the firestick that it uses to control the firestick. With this setup, things like HDMI CEC control of the TV doesnt work so you can no longer control the TV volume and power through the firestick. Also, the external dongle makes the installation look messy.
On a positive note, the remote did at least allow me to operate the firestick again.

These remotes are garbage if you’re trying to use it with your firestick. The power button and volumes buttons won’t work . So you will still need a second remote if you wish to turn your tv on and off or use the volume at all. Not worth the price. Returning ASAP.

Remote paired once to my fire stick 2nd gen, something happened and now it won’t pair at all so I can’t use my firestick unless I buy another remote control which I don’t have the money to do right now! Don’t waste your money.
