Second one we have ordered. Very happy with the first one so order another to go next to it but this one came damaged which we didn’t see until all parts unboxed. They are unable to send us a replacement part so we now have to work out how to repackage all parts and wait in for collection. A simple replacement part would be more cost effective, less time consuming and more environmentally friendly.

This hall tree/bench is sturdy and holds a lot of shoes and coats. I use three IKEA bins on the bottom (one for each kids’ shoes). It has cleared my door of all the mess and has kept it clean for a few weeks now. I am so happy I bought this to organize this space!

I puchased this for my entryway to replace a small/child bench and coat rack that my children have outgrown. I was impressed with the packaging- all parts clearly labeled and hardware each in their own packet, also clearly labeled. I had no trouble putting this together- the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I could not anchor to the wall due to baseboards, but it is very sturdy. We have coats/jackets of 2 adults and two children, plus backpacks, purse, binder and school bags. So far, absolutely no issues!

Negative reviews highlighted a difficult assembly but I had no problems. Like any furniture requiring a lot of bolts, this piece required hand-tensioning all parts and then going back to gradually tighten various parts with the provided tool to make the fit right. That’s standard operating procedure for self-assembled furniture IMO. Instructions said it was a two-person job but I did it alone as a 5’3″ 125lb person so it can’t be that hard. The piece looks fantastic and solved a small-space storage problem in a rental of mine.

Living in rural Alaska, it’s hard to find things like this that will ship here, so kudos to the seller. It also shipped very quick, which I appreciate. The product was adequately packaged, so there was no damage to any pieces. All parts were there, and tools were included other than a Phillips head screwdriver. Assembled pretty easily, although I had to go back and fix one piece right off the bat due to instructions not being super clear. Although if I paid closer attention prior to inserting the screws, it could have been avoided. All screws fit and holes properly aligned. Color was as expected. Took me two episodes of American Horror Story and a 6 pack and it was completed… (so 2 hours solo). I didn’t mount it to the wall, because I feel it’s pretty sturdy on it’s own. Would recommend!

Obsessed with this piece!!! Was the perfect size for my place. Love the wood and metal elements. Very straightforward directions for assembly. Took about 40 minutes to put together. Very happy with it!!!!

I’d been looking for a little hall tree for my entryway so we could stop using the dining room table/chairs as a catch all area and I think this is the perfect fit with space for coats/bags/shoes but also some decorative shelves for adding plants and pictures. The faux wood in slate grey is pretty neutral, not too cool or cheap looking.
I was afraid it would be kind of awkward to walk into when coming through the front door, but it’s really not. It’s not clunky and cumbersome like a lot of other options I had looked at, and keeps the front entryway feeling light/open.
It seems pretty sturdy and was easy to assemble. I did it mostly on my own in about an hour altogether (and I’m on the little side…just needed my husband to anchor to the wall). The quality is in line with the price – not a ~forever piece of furniture, but cute/trendy and serves its purpose well.

I don’t normally do reviews but felt this product had enough problems that I decided to. Box came and was pretty beat up but everything inside was undamaged. That’s a UPS issues so no complaints there.
Unboxed and started assembly – most parts were in a labeled bag for installation but random screws were also in there unbagged. As I started putting it together I noticed that some holes were missing (on the middle vertical panel) even though it was on the instructions and came with the bolts. Kind of annoying but not that big of an issue.
Then found one of the bungs wasn’t welded to the upright that ties the seating space to the vertical post – this is critical because it keeps the two tightly together. Had to manually drill/tap a hole so that it would hold.
Then found the bottom shelf didn’t have a threaded spot for the bolt to hold. Found this out when tightening the bolt and it pushed up through the particle board. Yeah that sucked and left a noticeable mark but at least it’s on the bottom shelf where no one will see.
Overall very disappointed in this product. I should return but I don’t want to tear it all down and figure out how to get it back in the box. Buyer beware. It’s a low cost product and made very cheaply, but it will serve its purpose for now. If it wasn’t for those poor craftsmanship I’d actually be pretty pleased.

This hall tree worked out absolutely PERFECT for our entrance area. I put it together by myself. (A 66 yr old grandma 🙂 Each section was marked with a number, each screw set for various sections in different bags – tools necessary were included. IF you read directions, this was simple to put together. It took me about 45-55 minutes and I was taking my time. It was like putting a simple numbered puzzle together.
It is a VERY sturdy piece of furniture. I found no need to bolt it to the wall, although those parts are included for that purpose. The piece goes well with my other furniture – which includes distressed wood and metal (industrial style) and a someone eclectic mix of antique and “what-ever I like”. The pressed wood color is just as the picture shows and is great here on the coast because it’s a driftwood color.
My husband and I are very satisfied. We are getting a lot of use out of it. I’d definitely recommend.
