Recent update: For those who complain about the half bottle you recieve, the bottle should not be filled all the way as it said that there is only 4 oz in each bottle. The bottle is just a lot bigger. Please do not be that GREEDY PERSON to fill up one with another bottle to make it a full bottle and send the empty bottle back. They put 4 oz in, and you get 4 oz even if they put it in a 1L container. This is my second time purchase and I love this shampoo. I bought 3 bottles in total without any sponsor. I bought it with my own money. I just think that they deserve a truthful, honest review. And by the way, my cat is domestic short hair, and it works perfectly. Great smell, dry fast, no mess.
Original feedback: This shampoo dries faster than other brands! I don’t have to watch my cat suffer when all her hair is wet for a night! You rub the shampoo in, and leave it for 3 minutes and it is dry like before! Smells great too

LOVE that it’s safe, all-natural ingredients because the cat will inevitably lick it off. I squirt a few pumps into my hands and rub all over my cat. She hates the initial cool and wet feeling so she squirms to get away, but this is so easy to use, I can usually get full-body coverage even when she’s walking or running away. It takes less than 5 minutes to apply the product to her fur, which is about all she can tolerate. I love that it’s no-rinse, because she can go hide under the bed or sulk by the window and I don’t have to bother her until she dries – and then she loves to be brushed so it’s like a reward. I have a large cat (2 ft long, 14 lbs) and a bottle lasts 3 baths, which I try to do every 3-4 weeks. I’d buy them in larger sizes if I could find them.

Okay. My cat, despite getting bathed frequently, still manages to smell like a combination of mouth, belly button lint, and floor. I bathed her with this tonight and she smells like a spring baby. I can’t stop huffing her soft head. I didn’t think it was possible to love her any more, but I’m a changed man. This stuff rocks.

Shame on Dr. Dawn Curie Thomas! Cats are not small dogs! Don’t use dog stuff on felines.
This neem ingredient can KILL your cat.

After reading all the great reviews, I thought I had found something to help Max with his constant itching. Nope. As a matter of fact, it made things worse. Not only was he itching even more, but he got sick from licking it off of himself, which he kept doing for a long time after I applied it.

This is going back and I want a refund. I’m going to stick to using coconut oil. That is what gives him relief.

Bought this for my kitten who was receiving ear drops that were oily and getting all over her fur. Did not drastically help with the oilyness but it did help a bit. Scent is very strong, smells like floor cleaner. I read that there was neem oil so I wiped her off with a wet cloth so she doesn’t ingest it if it’s toxic. The foam is a bit like foaming face or hand wash if you’ve used that before. I will probably use a different dry wash for in between washes next time.

This product is great at helping me keep my long haired persian’s hair smelling and feeling clean without actually having to bathe her multiple times a month. She is a rather messy eater and gets her chest dirty and this waterless foam cleans the mess right up. I have also noticed less shedding since using this product and her hair is so soft and fluffy. The smell is pleasant too. (Picture of Purrsephone and all her glorious floof thanks to the help of this product.)

So I purchased this… And I haven’t used it yet, which I’m glad I didn’t. This product’s first ingredient is Neem Oil. I didn’t know about Neem Oil until researching the ingredients.

Neem Oil can have severe adverse reacts on cats. While not deemed poisonous there hasn’t been enough study on felines to suggest this product is safe for them. Vomitting, messing with insulin, diarrhea, and lethargy are just some of the side effects possibly in cats.

On horses and dogs the use would likely be okay because they don’t groom themselves like cats do. Sadly cats are grooming machines and I, in good conscience, cannot out this product on my cat knowing it may hurt them or cause issues down the road.

Plus the main use of Neem is an insect repellent. I don’t need that on my cat…

I’m torn about this product. I used it on two of my cats– one is an elderly gentleman who doesn’t bathe himself well. His back is pretty greasy and tends to get matted, so I used this product on the trouble spot a couple times but didn’t see a difference. As well, I have a slightly younger guy who must have sensitive skin on his back because he doesn’t clean it and has quite a lot of dandruff/flakes. Applied to him, as others had said this was good for irritated skin, and … didn’t seem to have any effect. The reason I do leave some positive marks on this product is it smelled good, like face powder, and it was genuinely easy to apply… the cats just thought I was scratching/petting them rather vigorously. It dried in about 30 minutes, so not too long. I suppose if you just need to freshen a cat who cleans itself with rancid breath or one who smells for whatever reason this would be great, but I really don’t see any actual shampoo-like results.

My cat smells amazing and is silkier than before. She loved being pampered.
