This phone is everything they advertised, of course I haven’t had it long enough to testify to it’s durability. As far as that goes, I am basically the phone terminator – they usually only make it a few months with me. I will update this if and when I have a problem with it’s durability. If you do not see an update below, it is still going strong.

As for features and network compatibility, this thing is great:

Network – I am using it on AT&T, no issues. It shows a stronger signal than my Blackberry’s and Samsung’s ever did in the same places, so I am encouraged about the power of the radio in it.

Operating system – Android 6.0.1 very easy to navigate, and aligns well with the number and placement of buttons on this phone. This phone was so easy to learn, I almost feel like I am missing something somewhere. Everything makes sense and no hoops to jump through to use features.

Apps – This phone has no extra junk, and no built in ads. I love this. If I want an app, it’s Android so I can can add it, but I like it lean and mean. Less is better. If you ever had a Samsung and all their extra junk and ads, you will really appreciate this phone. It does not, however, come with a visual voicemail app, the only disappointment so far, but I solved that by downloading You-Mail.

Thermal imaging – it can see hot or cold spots in superb detail around my house, although the actual temperature readings aren’t necessarily spot on (I haven’t checked that) it does illustrate temperature differences very well. I have already found 2 poorly repaired holes in my ceiling I didn’t know about. It can also see hot or cold water very well, although it takes a little more effort for lines within walls. To be fair, it may do better than I think on that, I am still new to using all the features.

Touchscreen – I really struggle with touchscreens because I am a contractor and my hands are always either wet or super dry and cracked. This is the best touchscreen I had ever used. It is sensitive and accurate, but not too much so. It does work great with wet hands.

Sound quality is super, voices are clear and music is clean, which I was worried about due to the extra waterproofing. The ringtone can be set to an obnoxious level if you’re like me and never hear your phone ring.

Extra storage – it will read and use a 256 gig micro SD

Battery life – I am a minimalist on phone feature usage but it seems pretty solid, using only about 20 percent per day – better than my Blackberry’s and Samsung’s

The Power Bank – Haven’t had to use it for power, but it does have a built in flashlight which I thought is a nice touch.

So far, good. That should be what you expect, I think.
According to reviews, some people seem to have problems for accessing internet.
So, let me leave some tips.
My carrier is H2O. And automatic configuration was not worked.
So I set APN manually. After that, I confirmed I could access internet.
That may meet your case, or may not.
Anyway, let’s google it with the words “Your carrier name(H2O in my case)” and “wireless APN setting”, before request for a refund.

So, to begin with, this is definitely not a paid review nor is it for anyone but you people out there.
    Lets get to it:
I am coming from a Samsung Galaxy S5, and my wife (this is the husband) has an iPhone 7.
I switched from Verizon to AT&T for this phone (which by the way, this version of the phone works fine on AT&T), and for the better coverage in AK.
I’ve had the phone almost a week, and will review again at around 6 months.

One quick note: I read someone had an issue with the fact that the phone doesn’t read regular SD cards, only micro. This person was a retard, as there are no smart phones that I know of that have ever used a regular size SD card.

    COMPARE:
Processor: With the lack of bloatware, I would say that this phone is faster than both the S5 and iPhone 7. It is smooth, fast, and has good touch response. It runs all 3 gigs of apps (including navigation, weather, games (like Castle Clash or Sniper Strike or South Park or Tales from the Borderlands, modeling apps etc) just fine. Not a glitch to be had. Stock apps you don’t want are easily removed.

Screen: Haven’t tested the durability, but the clarity and brightness is better than the S5 and on par with the 7.

Camera: Let’s be honest, you don’t need a Nikon camera in your phone. I didn’t notice any difference between my S5 and this, and to be truthful it is easier to use this phone’s camera app than the others.

Size/weight: For those of you who are used to prim-prissy new fangled phones, this may seem a bit thick. I personally don’t notice much difference in my large hands from the S5, and the little added thickness makes it seem more sure-handed for me.

Physical buttons: No comparison, the others don’t have them. These buttons have a satisfying press and seem pretty robust.

FLIR: Again, no comparison. I will note, as others seem to complain about the boot time for the FLIR app – do a bit of research. The app has to calibrate the camera each time it is open, which requires some time. It’s not that much of a wait, and if you have a problem with the wait, you have a problem with first world things. Otherwise, a pretty bad a$$ app to have and use, for fun or work.

Battery Life: Outstanding. Way better than the S5 or iPhone. I can run GPS and GPS apps, Google Play Music, various games, medium bright screen, and multiple text conversations for at least 16 hours before I gotta plug it in. No problems at all. Way longer lasting than the other phones.

Overall: I would buy this phone again and again before others. It is rugged, it is plenty fast, and it is plenty aesthetic – physical or digital.

Special Capabilities: Work great, I’ll let you read up on/play with them yourself.

I’ll be putting it to the test in more intense situations, like military or LE. It has so far performed fantastically in -16 deg F weather.
