As so many others have stated in their reviews, this is the biggest ripoff ever! I had a Galaxy S7 active for years, wanted another to replace it and was excited to find this “new” one. I figured it was just a rebuild but wasn’t concerned as long as the components were new. When I received it, I couldn’t get it to turn on, it acted like it wasn’t even charging. Had to Google how to get it on, had to do a hard reboot first, then it crashed repeatedly and for no reason. I looked up on online suggestions for fixing this issue, tried all of them, clearing caches, factory reset, nothing worked. I don’t know what the issue was but they sold me a lemon. I would absolutely rate “0” stars if that were an option. For being a “certified ” Amazon seller, they aren’t vetted very well. Do yourself a favor and go to a store.

Had a small instance of the S7 dreaded “pink line” on the screen for a few minutes, then went away. From what I’ve read that issue may be a software issue, and this one updated shortly after I got it online and haven’t seen the pink line since. fingers crossed. Anyway, everything aces with phone and service. Best phone I’ve ever had, fast & even battery is great, last almost 2 days.
UPDATE 12/2019: Bought a second gold one from Cellular Gallery, practically like new, said it had screen burn, but with leds after it’s been off for awhile, that goes away and there’s no indication of it. And no dreaded pink line.
UPDATE 5/2020: BOUGHT A THIRD charcoal one ,also from Cellular Gallery, also like new. Supposed to have screen burn also, no evidence when I got it.
OTHER THOUGHTS: all had Android 7 when I got them, all eventually upgraded to Android 8, and then some. Most current one has a couple more updates to do as it’s software is still dated 2018 and the other 2 are dated 2020. Seems you have to wait awhile after each update b4 you can do the next one, but no biggie, just shows they were hardly used or would’ve done them automatically already.
All in all, pretty great phone for under $100, fingerprint SECURITY, pulse/oxygen reader, 13mp camera, WQHD SCREEN, WATERPROOF TO 1.5 METERS FOR 30 MINUTES

For starters, I live in the US and received a UK power block. So that was useless. Along with that the power cable I received never worked, and the headphones included broke within the first use, damn near during unpackaging. That packaging was super damaged aswell. But to make it all worse the phone is crap. I am almost 100% sure I received a “fake” samsung. The receiver for the power cable isn’t lined up right with the frame of the phone, so you can barely get a cable to plug in. My Galaxy s6 Active more than out performed this thing. The battery and processing system was better on my s6 and the s7 was supposed to have significant improvements to that. My s6 was refurbished, maxed out on memory, and i dropped it like crazy. All i did was move contacts over to the new one, There is no reason why the s6 would run faster than this “galaxy s7 active”. I have never been so disappointed in a new phone purchase. Conclusion: I’m going to switch back to the old phone. Also buy your device from a real supported dealer. I was under the impression Amazon was safe but go figure it’s turning into eBay BS

So disappointed after placing the order i spoke to someone about this phone i asked and confirm that the phone was new he sd yes it is.. well when i got it it looked new but lil did i knw it had a hole lots of problems one my husband got it going. The camera did not work at all and lots of add keeped popping up in the maine screen, also keeped freezing up on him. So clearly it was not a new phone. For the price we paid we were expecting something better.

I rarely (if ever at all) submit reviews or opinions on purchases. However, now as I am starting off in a whole new year, I decided to start to speak up and/or, to speak out. This phone (straight out of the box) displayed far more problems than I care to include in the review. I strongly suspect the claim and outright advertisement listing the phone as a “brand new” device was/is the furthest claim from any truth or accuracy.
As we age, some of us see such disappointment in latest designs and quality being offered. Not that we expect too much but, we were accustom to truthful and accurate descriptions and advertising. Sadly, the deliberate and blatant use of intentional misleading, outright lying, deceit, false advertising, etc., are all now part of the “American Way”! Not that you will get more if you spend more, but, perhaps I should’ve been less stingy and taken the $275.00 spent on this unsavory merchant and just put that money towards even more money and just bought direct from the service provider??

the only reason its getting 4 stars, is that my first S7 active, after two years, the battery started to swell
they stopped making actives after the S8, and i like the physical buttons on the S7. I think its more sturdy screen wise as well, so I got another S7 to replace it
as far as im concerned its the best active phone they made.
sadly the wont be making any more in the active line.. sucks cause these phones are great

This is a terrific phone and I am a loyal Samsung Galaxy Active owner. This is the only phone I will buy because it can take the occasional fall and dip in a puddle if fate dictates without the need for a protective, bulky case! I like that my phone won’t crack at the slightest tumble to the ground and that I can still enjoy a sleek feeling phone that I know, is protected by Samsung Active structure!

This is the first time I purchase a refurbished phone. Mine was dying and I was heading for a long trip where a phone was necessary. There were a few scratches, which I was not pleased about, and the phone has had its ‘glitchy’ moments. Keeping in mind that it is an S7 and that currently the S9 is out it is definitely an improvement on the S5 I previously owned.

I would have liked a used phone that acted like brand new but that is unrealistic. What I bought was a used phone that cleaned up pretty well and meets my current needs at a fraction of the price of a brand new S9
